A crazy thing to build. So we built it.
While most brands settle between two and four pistons, we took the hardest road: fitting an opposed six-piston hydraulic system inside a caliper driven by a mechanical cable. That needs an extremely complex sealed internal oil path and machining at the limit. It is a precise design, a difficult build, and an unreasonable thing to exist.
We built it because we refuse to bow to the limit, and because riders who want absolute control deserve one answer that ignores terrain and weather.
Six pistons. Sequential propulsion.
This is not simply more pistons. The GTP-6's sequential propulsion loads the six pistons so that the braking force is enormous yet completely linear. Pad contact on the rotor grows dramatically, and braking turns from stopping into fine control of speed.
The lever you pull is the one you already own. Drop-bar and short-pull levers work as they are; nothing is re-routed and nothing is bled.
Forged solid. Machined precise.
European high-purity 6061 aluminium, die-forged for rigidity, then CNC-machined. The six pistons are 7075 aluminium with a wear-resistant coating, so every stroke is smooth and exact. The body is anodised, never painted: a polished face and matte backplate, and no coating to trap heat.
In automotive and motorcycle terms, forged-plus-machined is top-tier hardware. Put the same spec on a motorcycle and it is flagship equipment.
Constant boiling point. Any weather.
Hydrophobic mineral oil does not absorb moisture from the air, so the boiling point does not drift between wet and dry. Mud, rain, long descents: the feel stays the same.
Pads are DP340 + SP340, a widely stocked pattern, so a flagship brake does not hold you hostage for consumables. A tool-free knob keeps pad clearance where you want it.
The other half: C1.
The C1 lever and the GTP-6 were designed together. Their lever ratio is matched, so the combined feel is springy and dense rather than hard and dead. Sold separately, but the best feel comes from the pair.
Six pistons reward a good mechanic. Piston synchrony, pad clearance and cable routing decide how well this system performs, which is why an authorised dealer can get more out of it than a rushed install. Run compressionless housing and low-friction inner cable.
