Two pistons. 66 grams. Read that again.

For road riding and lightweight builds, the two-piston caliper is still the gold standard: simple structure, easy to service, nothing to go wrong. The ETF-A keeps that advantage and pushes the structure to its modern limit.

At 66 g for the 140 mm version and 71 g for the 160 mm, it is one of the very few brake upgrades that genuinely helps you climb. Less weight at the wheel, none of the stopping power given up.

Carved from one billet. No casting.

This is not a cast caliper. The ETF-A starts as a European high-purity 6061 aluminium billet and is CNC-machined into a single body: no halves, no bolts, no seam. Under hard braking on a long descent the body stays rigid, so every small input at the lever arrives at the pad without being lost in flex.

The pistons are 7075 aluminium, all metal, machined to tight tolerances so both move in step. The result is a direct lever feel with the dead stroke removed.

Direct 140 or 160. No adapter.

Choose 140 mm or 160 mm and the caliper mounts straight onto a Flat Mount frame or fork for that rotor size, with no adapter and no long bolts. Cleaner lines, less weight, a stiffer connection.

Mineral oil version for Shimano and Campagnolo, DOT version for SRAM. The ETF-A is a full hydraulic caliper for hydraulic road levers; it is not for mechanical cable-pull levers.

Open cooling. Function you can see.

The open cooling design exposes more of the body to airflow, so the heat generated where pad meets rotor leaves faster and fade arrives later. The same cutaways are what give the ETF-A its look: machining marks, not decoration.

Sold as a single caliper. Order two for front and rear. 100% designed and manufactured in Taiwan.
