Folded, you push the bike into the station. The wheels drag, the bike sways, and the telescopic rod has a looseness you cannot quite name. Fifty metres in, you wonder whether this bike was designed to be ridden or to be carried.

Easy wheels have been around for years, and that is exactly why so many are built down to a price. Fewer bearings, less material, simpler structure.

Every turn of the wheel tells you how honest the engineering is. Rolling resistance, axial play, bracket stiffness: if any one of them is loose, your hand knows. We put back everything that should be there.

Each wheel runs on dual bearings. A single bearing gives one support point, and under side load the wheel starts to wobble. Two bearings split the load across two points on the axle and lock the rotation onto one line.

Push it and it tracks straight. No drift, no sway, no drag.

The wheels are not moulded and not cast. Every one is machined out of a solid block of aluminium with 3D CNC.

Full machining means uniform material, controlled geometry, and a wheel that runs true to its bearing seat because the machine guarantees it, not the mould.

The hanger brackets are fully machined the same way. The telescopic rod is turned from a single aluminium bar with a ball-bearing mechanism inside, so it extends smoothly and locks where it should. Precision, stability and smoothness all come from the same place.

The most common failure in extendable brackets is the extended rod bending under vibration. We built this rod from one turned bar with ball bearings to make it strong, but physics does not disappear with better material: an extended rod has a longer lever arm and takes more load.

Our advice is simple. Retract the rod before you push the bike. It keeps the load on the shortest lever, which is common sense for every telescopic structure, and it is how your set stays tight for years.
